Best non-toxic eco-paints for interior brick walls: What are your experiences?

I tried Biofa on my interior brick and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a bit pricier, but the coverage and durability are top-notch. I did use a primer, though, just to be safe. The color options are a bit limited, but they have some really nice earthy tones that work well with brick. Their packaging is also fully recyclable, which is a big plus for me.

I’m all about Keim for brick walls. Their mineral paints are eco-friendly and have a unique way of bonding with the brick, making it super durable. The preparation was a bit more involved—had to clean the brick thoroughly and apply a special primer they recommend. But the result is a breathable, weather-resistant finish that’s lasted years without fading.

I went with Little Greene for my brick walls and couldn’t be happier. Their eco paint range has some beautiful colors, and the finish is just right—not too shiny, not too flat. I did use a primer, and I think it made a big difference in how the paint adhered to the brick. Plus, their commitment to sustainability is something I really admire.
