I think the surface material plays a huge role in how light reflects off the paint. I used Ecos Paint on a smooth, plastered wall and it looked amazing, but when I tried it on a textured wall in another room, the effect wasn’t as pronounced. It makes me wonder if we should be considering the wall’s texture and material more when choosing paint finishes. Maybe a smoother finish on a textured wall could help bounce light better, or perhaps there’s a specific type of eco-friendly paint that works best with different wall textures.
