Interesting thread! I haven’t ventured into recycled sandpaper yet, but I’m all about those natural paints. I’ve been using Biofa for my projects, and the results are stunning. The idea of pairing it with recycled sandpaper is intriguing. I wonder if there’s a difference in performance between brands of recycled sandpaper. Maybe some are more durable than others? It’d be great to hear if anyone’s done a comparison. Also, any tips on storing recycled sandpaper to keep it in good shape longer?

Jumping in to share my two cents. I tried using recycled sandpaper with Ecos paints, and it was a bit of a learning curve. The sandpaper does wear out quicker, but I found that using it wet helps a lot. It reduces dust and seems to make the sandpaper last longer. Plus, it’s better for your lungs. Just make sure to let the surface dry completely before applying the paint. It’s a bit more time-consuming, but I think it’s worth it for the environment. Anyone else tried wet sanding with recycled sandpaper?
