How to effectively communicate with manufacturers about their paint certifications?

That checklist sounds like a game-changer! Could you share where you found it? I’ve been struggling to find a reliable source that breaks down the certifications in a way that’s easy to understand. It’s one thing to know what certifications are out there, but another to really grasp what they mean for the product’s environmental impact.

I’ve had similar issues with manufacturers being vague. What I’ve started doing is asking very specific questions about their certifications and the testing methods used. If they can’t or won’t answer, I take it as a red flag. It’s frustrating, but it’s also a good way to weed out the brands that aren’t truly committed to being eco-friendly.

I think it’s also important to look beyond just the certifications. Some smaller brands might not have the resources to get certified but still follow sustainable practices. I try to dig into their manufacturing processes and ingredient sourcing. It’s more work, but it can uncover some hidden gems that are doing great things for the planet.
