I’ve had some success with a beeswax and jojoba oil blend for sealing natural paints. It’s not as water-resistant as I’d like for exterior walls, but it’s great for indoor use. For the exterior, I’ve been considering trying a silicate-based sealer. They’re supposed to be eco-friendly and offer excellent protection against the elements. Has anyone here tried silicate sealers with natural paints?

Living in a similar climate, I’ve found that the key to durability is not just the sealer but also the preparation of the surface. I always make sure to clean and prime the walls properly before applying natural paint. As for sealers, I’ve been experimenting with a mix of beeswax and citrus solvent.
