I went for semi-gloss on the lower cabinets for that durability factor and used a satin finish on the uppers. It’s not as matte as eggshell but still gives a softer look without compromising too much on the cleanability. Plus, it adds a bit of dimension to the kitchen without going overboard on the shine.
