Hey everyone!
I’m in the middle of renovating my living room and I’m on the hunt for the best sustainable paint brands for interior walls. I’ve been diving deep into the world of natural paints and I’m amazed by the variety out there. So far, I’ve tried Earthborn Paints and was really impressed with their claypaint range. It’s got a beautiful matte finish and the colors are so rich. Plus, it’s VOC-free, which is a huge win for indoor air quality and the environment.
I’m also curious about Auro Natural Paints. I’ve heard they offer a wide range of natural paints and finishes, but I haven’t had the chance to test them out yet. Has anyone here used Auro for their walls? How was the application process, and how did it hold up over time?
I’m particularly interested in paints that are compatible with plaster walls, as that’s what I’m working with. Also, any insights on the environmental impact of the manufacturing process would be super helpful.
So, what are your go-to sustainable paint brands for interior walls? Have you found any hidden gems that are both eco-friendly and durable? Let’s share our experiences and help each other make more informed choices for our homes and the planet.
I’ve been using Auro Natural Paints for a couple of years now, and I must say, I’m really impressed. Their range is extensive, and the application process is smooth. I used their emulsion on my plaster walls, and it adhered beautifully. Over time, it’s held up well, with no peeling or fading. The environmental impact is minimal, as they focus on sustainable sourcing and production. Definitely worth considering!

I’m all about Aglaia Paints. Their products are made from natural ingredients like linseed oil and beeswax. The finish is unique, and it really brings out the texture of the walls. It’s a bit pricier, but for the quality and eco-friendliness, it’s worth it.

I’ve been on the lookout for sustainable paints too and stumbled upon Biofa. They’re a German brand, and their products are plant-based and solvent-free. I used their interior paint on my walls, and the coverage was excellent. It’s been a year, and the color still looks fresh. Plus, knowing it’s eco-friendly gives me peace of mind.
That’s interesting about Biofa. I went with Ecos Paints for my project. They’re based in the UK and have a zero-VOC promise across their range. I was a bit skeptical at first, but the paint went on smoothly and dried quickly. The best part? No paint smell at all, which was a relief. It’s been holding up well against daily wear and tear.

Biofa Paints sound like a great find! I’ve been on the lookout for more sustainable options myself. It’s awesome to hear that they’re not just VOC-free but also biodegradable. That’s a huge plus for the environment. I wonder if they offer a wide range of colors? Sometimes with eco-friendly paints, the color selection can be a bit limited. Also, how was the coverage? Did you need multiple coats?

Ecos Paints are on my list to try next. I’ve been using Graphenstone paints recently and they’re fantastic for plaster walls. They’re made with lime and graphene, which not only makes them eco-friendly but also helps regulate humidity. The finish is beautiful and it’s been durable so far. Might be worth looking into if you’re exploring options.
